Here at Best Buddies Border Collies, both myself Gayle & my husband Peter, pride ourselves on breeding great temperament, gently caring Border Collies.

A Little About Us………

We have retired, our background was in a few things over the years. But mainly small crops/cane farming. We have two children in which we fully support with Athletics and Cycling over the years.

Both Peter & myself have grown up with Border Collies.

With our love for Border Collies we knew our family needed something when our children were young, So along came “SPIKE”. The love he brought the family was unconditional, as our children grew up and left home, Spike needed a friend. Buster came into our life, things were great.

We had 3 wonderful years with Buster, unfortunately, he passed away.

We were all heartbroken. Again we all had a piece of us that needed to be filled………..

Then along came “SMOKEY” & “MISTY”………
And There My Friends Was The Start of…

We started seriously looking into breeding in 2017, Retired with plenty of time on her hands, we wanted to surround ourselves with smart caring gentle dogs. With the research done, ( well you never really stop learning) & everything falling into place & the search for just the right dogs for us.

We always DNA test our dogs when we bring them home so we can produce amazing puppies…..

Ok… So with a growing 4 legged family & our passion for Border Collies. We moved out to a beautiful 30acres, at South Kolan 20mins from Bundaberg. Where are dogs can run free during the day while still having access to the house & company with cuddles are always accepted?

As you can see, we have a loving family, we strive to produce healthy happy good temperament for your new addition to your family.

With a heavy heart and unfortunately, after 17 amazing years Spike passed away in October 2019 but his Legacy lives on in each and every puppy that comes from Best Buddies Border collies
